We originated from ; Mr.Imaichi Fujie started a textile manufacturer at Nishijin in Kyoto in 1885.
Even in the modern time when Japanese still lived with TATAMI FUSUMA and SHOJI in that period,
we initiatively launched into the market of interior fabrics.
So we have confidence that we have made the market as a one of pioneers.
We think that we are appraised with the original designs and the high qualities called
“MODERN SIMPLE” by the customers. Our developing department’s staff have been continually
making their efforts to create prominent items which are worthy of the name of “MODERN SIMPLE”.
I believe that the performance of their endeavors are the really DNA of fujie-textile.
The good reputations of the items have been spread over the foreign countries and we are positively
doing business with editors and converters in several countries as well.
Please note that we also have another face of MADE IN JAPAN ‘s fabrics.
We will never follow the volume markets, but we will make our utmost efforts to meet the requests
from the customers who are looking for the originality of the designs as well as the demands of
fabrics as finished products suitable for the various living spaces.
